Formal Garden Party

We'd love everyone to embrace the occasion and have fun dressing up.

We're hoping for a relaxed, late-summer celebration that feels colourful, timeless and a little bit characterful. Think beautiful prints, linen, silk, interesting textures, hats and the sort of accessories that make an outfit feel like you.

For the gentlemen, we'd ask that you wear a collared shirt, with ties encouraged. Lighter-coloured suits and seasonal fabrics would feel very much at home.

As the reception is on the farm, we'd recommend block heels, wedges or smart flats rather than stilettos. We'll also be dancing the night away with a ceilidh, so shoes you can comfortably dance in are definitely worth considering.

Please avoid wearing white or ivory, and no jeans, please.

We hope everyone will get to enjoy, with any luck, a long sunny September evening, but as this is Cornwall, we'd suggest bringing a light jacket — as temperatures do drop in the evening, just in case.
